Installation & Support Technician

FULL TIME: M - F 8 to 5 ONSITE

Pay rate: $25.00 per hour

Location: Kennesaw, GA

Responsible for supporting with the design, installation, configuration, programming, testing, maintenance, and upgrade of complex AV systems in a variety of environments including, classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. o Install and support the audio-visual infrastructure for all university spaces
2. o Verify infrastructure before AV installation
3. o Track and verify AV assets in operation and for new installation
4. o Attend and coordinate scheduled job kickoffs with external vendors
5. o Troubleshoot installation issues

• Able to install, support, diagnose and resolve enterprise audio-visual systems Required 2 Years
• Extron design, installation, and configuration Desired 1 Years
• knowledge in switching, routing, multiplexers, control systems, display devices, scalers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, rack layout Required 2 Years
• Able to interpret CAD wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics CAD drawings Required 1 Years
• Basic computer networking knowledge Required 1 Years
• Intermediate computer Hardware and Software knowledge Required 1Years
• Certification: Extron-certified control professional nice to have 1Years
