NEEDED: Phlebotomist 

LOCATION: 3625 FCI Road, Marianna, FL 32446

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, not to exceed 40 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  US Citizen
  • Must be a certified Phlebotomy Technician
  • Must hold a current CPR certification.
  • Must possess a high school certificate of graduation or GED.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Phlebotomist
  • Must have experience with specimen collection, packaging and shipment to referral laboratories with knowledge of maintaining appropriate records.
  • Must have knowledge of routine office related duties including working knowledge of computers and word processing programs.
  • Must possess the ability to file various documents in chronological order and electronically.
  • Must possess good organizational skills, good interpersonal relationship skills, and be able to work effectively with the Clinical Director.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: 

  • Detailed Resume listing dates of employment and any direct experience with specimen collection, packaging and shipment to referral laboratories with knowledge of maintaining appropriate records.
  • Phlebotomy Technician Certification
  • Provide proof of CPR certification and Health Care Provider certification or a statement of willingness to provide them prior to starting.
  • Two (2) letters of reference

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Performing venipunctures on patients for analysis or other medical purposes.
  • Maintaining logbooks for patient medical records and entering data into computer for retrieval.
  • Collecting and packaging specimens to ship for laboratory analysis.
  • Conducting interviews and scheduling patients for lab work.
  • Taking and recording vital signs of patients.
  • Maintaining accurate count of supplies, stock supplies and preparing stock orders.
  • Provide proof of being CPR certified and Health Care Provider certification within three months of award of contract.
  • Must maintain current CPR-Health Care Provider certification.
  • Participation in emergency training exercises and maintaining skills in operation of emergency equipment.
