We are currently seeking a MRI Technologist in the Portland, OR area.

Location: VA Portland Health Care System; Portland, OR.

Hours: 8, 9, or 10 hour shifts. 

Responsibilities:

• MRI Technologist operate a super conductive Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI), a highly complex computerized imaging device which employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images of the entire body, including the brain, neck, spine, chest, body, and extremities.
• Shall have knowledge of professional care theories, principles, practices, and procedures to serve Radiology patient population.
• Shall demonstrate knowledge of growth and development, and basic knowledge of disease processes specific to VA patient population.
• Shall provide verifiable evidence of all educational and training experiences including any gaps in educational history upon request.

Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
• AHA BLS.
• ARRT (MR).
• Must commit to 6 months.
