We are currently seeking a Pharmacist in the Jesup, GA area. This position is in a federal correctional environment.

Pay: $72.00-$75.00 per hour.

Location: FCI Jesup; Jesup, GA.

Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday, between 7:30AM-4:00PM.

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of medical/dental staff prescription orders. These orders may be the traditional physical prescription or orders taken from entries in the patient’s medical file.
• Selecting the correct medication and filling the prescription.
• Entering prescriptions into the pharmacy’s prescription computer system and printing prescription labels.
• Inventorying medications and supplies, recording items that are low and in stocking levels, and advising staff of medications that need ordering.
• Interacting with inmates regarding their medication(s) and providing patient education about the medication(s).

Qualifications:

• At a minimum, the Pharmacist must be a graduate of an accredited school of higher education as a pharmacist. 
• Must have a current license to practice in any state in the United States.
