Scanner Operators

Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

Location: 4125 Welcome All Rd, Atlanta, GA 30349

Duration:  The assignment is scheduled to end tentatively early to mid-June.

Shifts available: 

Full-time shifts: 7:00 am–3:45pm or 8:00am-4:45pm, Monday–Friday (closed on state holidays), with a 45-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

Part-time shifts: 7:00am–11:00am, 8:00am–12:00pm, 11:00am–3:00pm, Monday-Friday (closed on state holidays), with no meal period and a 10-minute break.

Environment: Warehouse setting (Concrete floors, paper, and machinery noise).

Duties:

• Under direct supervision, IBML and OPEX Scanner Operator will support the Mail Operations Unit by processing and scanning documents. Other support duties may include opening and prepping tax return documents.
• Process documents using scanning/imaging equipment.
• Maintains working knowledge of the imaging processes through various processing systems.
• Performs routine preventative and mid-level maintenance on a scanner.
• Documents equipment downtimes and notifies appropriate personnel in a timely manner of breakdowns or maintenance service requests.
• Meet or exceed minimum production standards.

Minimum qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED with the ability to perform basic computer related duties.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior imaging experience with an IBML ImageTrac Scanner or OPEX Scanners.
• Prior Department of Revenue experience.
• Prior experience in a production environment.
• Attention to detail.
