We are currently seeking a Dental Hygienist in Bing Spring, TX. This position is in a federal correctional environment.

Pay: $45.47 per hour.

Location: 1900 Simler Drive, Big Spring, TX 79720.

Schedule: Not to exceed 40 hours per week, between 7:30AM-4:00PM.

Responsibilities:

Provide the following Dental Hygienist services, which include, but are not limited to, the items listed below.

• Provide dental prophylaxis for inmates who are referred to by the dental staff.
• Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient.
• Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis.
• Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist.
• Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff.
• Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by the dental staff.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• Required to be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in any U.S. state, commonwealth, or territory.
