NiteLines USA is looking to hire an Interventional Radiologist in the Brooklyn, NY area.

Location: Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.

Pay: $250-$298 per hour.

Hours:

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. On-call is required.

Duties:

  • Shall cover the range of Interventional Radiology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting currently recognized national standards as established by The American College of Radiology Guidelines for Radiology Practice, the Joint Commission, and the American Hospital Association.

Will be responsible for providing interventional radiology procedures, including, but not limited to:

  • Angiography.
  • Balloon angioplasty/stent placement.
  • Chemoembolization.
  • Cholecystostomy.
  • Drain insertions.
  • Embolization.
  • Thrombolysis.
  • Biopsy.
  • Radiofrequency ablation.
  • Endovenous las ablation of varicose veins.
  • Cryoblation.
  • Line insertion.
  • IVC filters.
  • Vertebroplasty.
  • Nephrostomy placement.
  • Radiologically inserted gastrostomy.
  • Dialysis access and related interventions.
  • TIPS placement.
  • Biliary intervention.

Qualifications:

  • Shall have a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia).
  • Shall be Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology.
  • Shall be BLS and ACLS certified.
