Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (1099)

Pay: $270 per hour (1099).

Relocation/sign-on bonus: $10,000.

Location: VAMC Albuquerque 1501 San Pedro Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-3:00pm and Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (At least one week per month). May require night shift on occasion. No on-call!

Job Qualifications:

License: Shall have a current license to practice medicine/anesthesia/nursing in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.

All licenses held by the key personnel shall be full and unrestricted.

Board certification: Shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.

Scope of Care: Shall be responsible for providing Hospital Medicine Physician care, including, but not limited to:

  • Provide full scope of Anesthesiology services to VA patients.
  • Shall cover the range of Anesthesiology services to be provided in our state-of-the-art health care facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceed currently recognized national standards as established by ASA, TJC, AHA, and AANA guidelines.
