Description:

• A Mental Health Registered Nurse (MHRN) in Salem, or any location, focuses on providing nursing care to individuals with mental illnesses and other related conditions.
• Their responsibilities include developing care plans, administering treatments, evaluating patient responses, and ensuring a safe environment.

• Developing and implementing care plans. This involves assessing patients' needs, setting goals, and creating individualized plans to promote their mental and physical well-being.
• Administering medications.
• MHRNs are responsible for ensuring patients receive the correct medications, dosages, and at the appropriate times. This includes monitoring for side effects and potential interactions.
• Various therapies, such as individual or group therapy, depending on the patient's needs and the facility.
