Strategic Planning Specialist

Pay rate: $26.00 hr

Temp (12 months, dependent upon return of permanent employee on military duty)

Job Location: 445 Winn Way, Decatur, GA  30030

Hours: M-F 8:15-5:00

DUTIES: The Strategic Planning Specialist directs a diverse range of strategic planning, quality assurance, quality improvement, and programmatic activities using the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology. Under Quality Management supervision, this position is responsible for planning and organizing the facilitation of strategic planning processes by developing plans, analyzing data, and aligning goals to achieve the agency’s objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience required at the lower-level Strategic Planning Spec 1 (GSP100) or position equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management,Economics, Administration or Finance. Prefer 3 years’ experience in areas of strategic planning and quality improvement. Comprehensiveknowledge of quality improvement philosophy, methodologies, applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office application and data analysis tools.

Communication skills (Bilingual – Spanish preferred).
