FL-DOE-OSFA-Budget Analysts-Policy Analyst - The candidate will be doing professional accounting, budgeting & financial reporting.

Pay Rate $40.00

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Professional office

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Maintains various specialized accounting records

·       Compiles and analyses of large amounts of financial data

·       Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations

·       Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements

·       Understanding of Genal Ledgers, Trail Balances, and GAAP Financial Statements

·       Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

**  Must have CPA or BS in Accounting

**  Must have 10+ yrs of working with FASB/GASB

**  Must have 10+ yrs of financial statements preparation

**  Must be advanced in Microsoft Office

**  Must have General Ledger systems experience (Quickbooks, PeachTree, CYMA, FLAIR, etc.)

**  Ability to create, update and manage desk procedures

**  Must have financial & programmatic compliance audits experience
