$1,500.00 annual sign-on bonus. 40 hours per week.

- Paid Time Off - One (1) hour accrual per every 30 hours work up to 56 hours per year.
- Vacation - effective after one year of service with Nitelines USA, Inc Two (2) weeks paid vacation after one (1) year of service with a contractor or successor, three (3) weeks after five (5) years, and four (4) weeks after 15 years.
- Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
LOCATION: Health Service Department at FCI Hazelton 1640 Skyview Drive, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525
HOURS: Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm - 40 hours/week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizen
- Registered as a professional MA
- Documentation of medication administration and intra-venous competency
- Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Must provide proof of experience of at 1 year within the previous 3 years as an MA (Resume & 3 Professional letters of reference).
- Shall provide a copy of resume, license and certificates to support stated qualification.
DUTIES:
- Collect, package, and ship blood specimen to referral laboratories with knowledge of maintaining appropriate records. (Collect and prepare laboratory specimens).
- Take medical histories
- Explain treatment procedures to patients.
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Assist the physician during examinations
- Perform basic laboratory tests under CLIA regulations.
- Prepare and administer medications, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections—including vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by a physician or other licensed provider (e.g., a nurse practitioner or physician assistant)
- Transmit prescription refills as directed
- Medical orders such as taking electrocardiograms, wound care and changing dressings, obtain vitals, fecal occult testing, rapid and PCR test such as COVID, HIV, etc.
- Perform administrative duties (may include, but not limited to), answering telephones, welcoming patients, updating and filing patient medical records, coding and filling out BOP forms, scheduling appointments, arranging for hospital admissions (medical paperwork for trip) and laboratory services; handling correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping as determined by Health Services policies and the HSA.
- After BOP training: MAs, understand, and consistently comply with BOP information security policies, procedures, rules and regulations such as: Reporting known or suspected incidents immediately to the Information Security Officer. Using BOP computers only for lawful and authorized purposes. Not installing unauthorized software on the computer.
- Handling, storing, and disposing of sensitive information safely. Not e-mailing sensitive information.
