MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST

We are currently seeking a Registered Mammography Tech in Fort Worth, TX.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay Rate: $42.00/Hour
  • Annual Sign-on Bonus: $1,500.00
  • 35 hours per week, 8:00AM to 3:00 PM, 7 hours per day with a thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch period, if applicable, Monday through Friday, exclusive of Federal holidays.

  • Paid Time Off - One (1) hour accrual per every 30 hours work up to 56 hours per year.
  • Paid Vacation - effective after one year of service with Nitelines USA, Inc Two (2) weeks paid vacation after one (1) year of service with a contractor or successor, three (3) weeks after five (5) years, and four (4) weeks after 15 years.

Qualifications:

  • Must be certified/licensed with either the State of Texas Mammography Accreditation Program, the American College of Radiology (ACR) and or appropriate Boards of Medicine in the state of Texas.
  • Supporting documentation must be provided of certification(s)/license(s).
  • Must be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Heart Association.
  • Must have a minimum of one year of experience providing Mammography services.
  • Bilingual oral communication skills and experience in a clinical correctional setting are desirable.

Job Description:

  • Evaluation of patients
  • Perform digital breast screening mammograms.
  • Monitor the inmate’s status during testing and note any abnormalities.
  • Provide professional interpretations.
  • Reports must be in typewritten or computerized format.
  • Reports must be received within 48 hours of service.
  • If abnormalities are noted, Health Services must be notified immediately.
  • Technologist arranges patients for radiological examinations,
  • Produces radiographs (X-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field, relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, with no or minimum supervision.
  • A certain degree of latitude and creativity is required.
  • The services to be provided are professional in nature, and it is the FMC’s preference to obtain the services of facilities that are accredited by The Joint Commission standards of care.
  • The methods utilized will meet medical practices in the local community.
  • The digital imaging capabilities shall allow the operator to readily complete approximately 25 patients per one hour session. The number of patients requiring services will determine the length of session.
  • All reports need to be typed with appropriate letterhead by the technician reading the studies.
