NiteLines USA, Inc. has an immediate need for LPNs in the Lexington, OK area.

LOCATION: Lexington Assessment and Reception Center in Lexington, OK

PAY RATE:

  • $24.00/hr

HOURS:

  • Day Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Night Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

DESCRIPTION:

The contractor shall be responsible for, but is not limited to:

  • Provide patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards through the evaluation of patients and therapeutic treatment as ordered by Health Services clinical staff
  • Perform duties within the scope of the current licensure
  • Administer medications as prescribed i.e., by mouth, intradermally, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly
  • Distribute medications at pill line
  • Document all encounters in the electronic medical record
  • Perform skin testing
  • Record diagnostic testing, i.e., finger sticks, visual acuity testing, EKOs (per instructions from mid-level practitioners or physicians)
  • Ensure all sharps are secured, accounted for, stored and disposed of according to institutional and national policy
  • Assist the mid-level practitioners and physicians in the management of patients
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
  • Ability and skill to operate EKG, PFTs, and spirometry
  • Perform duties as required, but accept only those nursing assignments that are commensurate with his/her educational preparation, training, experience, and nursing licensure laws

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The LPN shall possess valid, current and unrestricted license to practice nursing within the state of Oklahoma while employed under contract and current CPR certification.
  • Shall be a graduate from an accredited LPN program.
  • Must be a citizen of the U.S.
